Riding the Updraft of Love

Does love count in measuring things

for emperors, peasants and kings?

It turns out that love has to be

the measure of equality.

We are all humble in its sphere;

an equalizing atmosphere.

We can count wealth and power

As it changes from hour to hour.

But, these are quotidian things

unlike the strength of angels wings.

All of us may be conscious of

the uplifting power of love.

This is a cosmic consciousness

which leads us all to happiness.
