A Hair Pin Might Do It

If we have wax in our ears

faintness of volume appears.

After we have dug it out,

other people seem to shout.

If wax does accumulate,

how can we compensate?

hearing aids cost too much

and they are only a crutch.

If we get rid of the wax,

we are able to relax.

We still may not hear it all

but our hearing loss is small.

If we use a sharp digger,

hearing loss may get bigger.
