Eternity is Forever

The cosmos is just part of me.

Which part do i want it to be?

The mortal body where i live

or a spirit God can forgive?

I believe i will be living twice

because one life will not suffice.

The body deteriorates

but spiritual life compensates.

I think when my body is gone

my inner soul will carry on.

I have to pity anyone

whose life isn’t a lot of fun;

because we live in eternity

and death isn’t the end of me.
