Asperging Our Sins

Has a new person emerged

whom the high priest has asperged?

Or, does the holy water

just cleanse a son or daughter?

That is what asperges means;

rebirthing the one it cleans.

Once our sins are washed away

we are permitted to stay.

The high priest can only do

what his god allows him to.

Does he have authority

to purify you and me?

Whatever will be, will be.

The holy water is free.
