What Color is Need?

Some things i am conscious of

while harvesting undeserved love.

Is anything ever deserved

except appetites which are curbed?

We don’t want so much as need

the appetites on which we feed.

We don’t really deserve desire

but our appetites get higher.

So all of us need to choose

if we have always paid our dues.

Some things which we have to face.

Love is a matter of grace.

The thing we must not forget;

Love’s color is violet.
