Proof It is Here

The end of a busy day

is when i take time to pray;

thank whatever gods may be

for being aware of me.

I never ask God for much,

but i am aware of Its touch.

I don’t ask for a Rolls Royce;

a model T is my choice.

It’s transportation i need

instead of a fancy steed.

A burro instead of a horse;

or even a mule, of course.

Because It’s aware of me

i know that God has to be.
