I Love My Enemy

The first thing i do when i pray

is give thanks for a happy day.

My day has been a lot of fun

and i have loved everyone.

It hasn’t always been that way

i am sorry to have to say.

I once had a bad attitude

instead of constant gratitude.

After that, i began to see

i was my own worst enemy.

To be what i wanted to be

i have changed my identity.

I became a happy elf

and i learned to love myself.
