The Enduring Crust

The clutter that hides our worlds

in a mask of garbage

is a diaspora of things.

Mere things which are disposed

as their useful life is closed;

revealing our happenings.

Are happenings only events

which seldom make any sense;

of which diaspora sings?

The recycling of things

which we no longer need,

is a garbage dump indeed.

Yet, growing wants are nourished

wherever trash once flourished.
