The Bridge Ahead

With burning bridges behind you,

who is trying to remind you;

you set your own bridges on fire?

and the implications are dire.

After finding where you are,

it’s another bridge too far.

It seems you can never learn

how quickly the bridges burn.

You cannot go home again

because no bridges remain.

You find what bridges are for

and begin to build some more.

The bridge to eternity

is across infinity.
