Use an Asterisk*

Words may have a life of their own

if definitions are unknown.

Also words may be meaningless

if they have no self-consciousness.

I wouldn’t want to be a word

which nobody has ever heard.

Sound is the redeeming feature

of any born-again preacher.

If his words don’t mean anything

he gives a closing hymn to sing.

All hymns may have a pleasing sound

where no real meaning can be found.

If we find what the meanings are

we ought to mark them with a star.
