Shady Past – Bright Future

The shade of the oak tree

is denser than the pine.

The sky looks down on me.

Eternity is mine.

This is because the tao

tells why and how things are.

The past has left us now,

The future isn’t far.

My senses may still live.

our spirits cannot die.

There’s nothing to forgive.

The devil is a lie.

I am grateful for this,

and i know what God is.
