The Cycle of life

We live in a cocoon state

and life in there is real great.

It’s like waiting to be born

when Gabriel blows his horn.

It’s more anticipation

than stark realization.

There is no epiphany

waiting for someone like me.

I am like a butterfly;

soon to be born, soon to die.

Being born is a duty;

a short life full of beauty.

But, life goes on forever,

beauty and life together.
