One Day, After Tomorrow

I am neither saved nor spared

by an indifferent God;

and yet, i can feel unscared

against death. Isn’t that odd?

An immortal God can’t die;

Thus and therefore nor can i.

For, i am just a small part

of an everlasting heart.

There’s nothing God can forgive

or explain how i should live

The tao is only how it is

and i can thank God for this.

Therefore when i pause to pray:

“Thank God for another day.”
