No Lonely Crowd

In a walk in the wilderness

we find a cosmic consciousness.

Yes, we are face to face with God

in these secret paths where we trod.

Nothing in wilderness compares

with busy, urban thoroughfares.

In the wild we can contemplate

cities where people congregate.

Perhaps God is never allowed

to become a part of a crowd.

We may have to be all alone

to meet with a God of our own.

Other peoples Gods may be found

if you just simply look around.
