Love or Justice

If there is any relationship

between these two concepts,

i find it hard to discover. Love

is an emotional attraction.

Justice, on the other hand, is a

human idea that we will be

rewarded or punished in the

long run.

We tend to think that the

cosmic consciousness will see to

it that every creature will be

dispensed a final judgment that

is based on their conduct in the

temporal world. This is a strange

assumption about the actions

of an intelligent and loving God.

All of the evidence indicates

that the cosmic consciousness

acts, if at all, from a deep sense

of love. Many people think of

God as just. I would dislike living

in a world where God is so

regarded. I think of God as on a

much higher plane than other

creatures. I think each of us has

a purpose in our bodily lives. It

is to emulate the cosmic

consciousness by evolving into

beings who love everyone,

including ourselves.
