Looking Eagerly Ahead

Is this the final decade

of my mortal existence?

As it becomes apparent,

my memory also fades.

In any life which looms ahead

my mind will be cosmic instead.

I won’t surmise, but really know

this life is just a picture show.

Perhaps without a memory

it will be an epiphany;

always new and inviting.

That life will be more exciting.

At least, that is what i hope for.

Who could ask for anything more?
