before you are fed to the worms?

The fancy coffin appears

able to last many years.

Ere it begins to decay

and ants carry it away.

Is there any guarantee

how long it will protect me?

Is it always understood

it will be of finest wood?

Is there a promise to God

that we will enrich the sod?

Is there negotiation

or just elimination?
