Attitude and Gratitude

Natural calamities

can leave trash in the trees.

Eagles’ nests get blown away

but trash is more apt to stay.

But a man-made disaster

isn’t a cause for laughter.

Sometimes it is hard to know

where our calamities go.

Disasters may represent

the results of bad intent.

So, they can be prevented

where just good is intended.

Every bad attitude

is replaced by gratitude.
