A Teacher is a Preacher

Most poets have to teach

because they need an income.

That means they have to preach

silly nonsense and then some.

That stanza was meant to rhyme

but there was some meaning there.

They may do that some time

if poets are debonair.

They have to know the rules

but don’t follow them themselves.

Some poets are not fools.

Nonsense is written by elves.

An elf can be a poet.

Difference? I don’t know it.
