No Resounding Thunder

No deep, resounding voice

ever gave me a choice,

and yet, i always knew

what it was right to do.

Is this telepathy

the way God talks to me?

I never hear a sound

saying God is around,

Conscience or consciousness

are the same thing i guess.

Or, it is in my case,

in my own time and place.

Whether or not it’s fair,

this voice is always there.
