It Doesn’t Make Sense
How can sounds, looks, smells and feels
omit things like sex appeals?
There are more senses than five
which help mankind to survive.
It is not only a cat
who understands the word “scat.”
Intuition plays a part
in sensations from the start.
We may never count the ways
our sensitivity plays.
How can we define such things
as fortunate happenings?
Senses may not need a name.
Counting them is a strange game.
