What Is the Meaning?

In unexpected places

like older human faces

there is a radiance of

a growing spirit of love.

Is our attitude better

as we grow old together?

Innate generosity

informs our philosophy.

And yet, an innocent child

who is yet to be defiled

is also loving like this.

Such love is hard to dismiss.

It is in the years between

that people are sometimes mean.
