On a Plane with Eternity

I talk with God in my prayers

about quotidian affairs.

This spiritual consciousness

to which i give thanks and confess

is not some physical being

which i am hearing or seeing.

Yes, i may often talk out loud

but never to impress a crowd.

I do not hear, but comprehend

the messages it seems to send.

Physical sensitivity

is less than intuitively.

I know that God isn’t matter

but, it does; now, and hereafter.
