A Quantum Superposition

The mutation of consciousness

can be measured in nano-hertz.

To go from the brain to the mind

requires speed of another kind.

To be everywhere at once

and arrive there in time for lunch

may seem like an eternity

and time isn’t waiting for me.

Time is a measuring device.

Eternity comes at a price.

It was, it is now–and will be

forever here, and instantly.

Ev’ry place and at ev’ry time

superposition doesn’t rhyme.
