A March to Joy

I would like a kinder world

more attuned to the voice of God,

with brighter banners unfurled

as we march instead of plod.

What we want may be what we get

if we are ready to make a choice.

If we are listening yet

to the spirit behind the voice.

With our heads up and shoulders back,

and filled with expectation,

a prize in every Cracker Jack

and a life of exhilaration.

Left, right, left, right, and straight ahead
