As I Look Down

through the tunnel of time,

the recent past emerges

less distinct than childhood.

Does this mean i am senile;

deteriorated by age?

Or, does it merely mean

my values have evolved?

Perhaps i have discovered

childhood curiosity

was more valuable

than amassing details.

Also, i needed to learn,

and now i need to forget.

My mind has been crowded

with too much trivia.
