The Worlds in Which We Live

Everyone of you may see

a much different world than me.

What we see has been filtered through

emotions we are subject to.

Whether we all know it or not,

our emotions are not forgot.

Sorrows we suffered yesterday

are not easy to put away.

What can color our attitude

to fill our lives with gratitude?

I may have been luckier in

life than most of my fellow men.

I wish everyone could be

as happy in their worlds as me.
