The Eternal Message

At the crest

of a forgotten hill

i can’t remember

and never will;

we argued about

the existence of God.

You began to shout

and i could only nod.

on another mount

or was it love

and why doesn’t that count?

Are God and love the same;

is that why Jesus came?
