Different Stages of Love

Are there different kinds of love?

Sexual, platonic, or mother,

All mean we cling to each other.

Valence, magnetism, or glue,

all simply mean “I love you.”

The reason love is evolving

are questions which still need solving.

Love is not the only force

which answers these questions of course.

Cosmic consciousness also grows.

through many stages we suppose.

Love may be only one thing.

a growing hope to which we cling.

Not different but evolving.
