Can’t Buy My Love

It seems awfully funny

no one has enough money.

There are things money won’t buy,

“i’ll take them with me when i die.”

I think i will make a file

of everything worthwhile.

which doesn’t cost anything.

Poverty where is your sting?

Love is the top of the list

which you can’t hold in your fist.

There are others i am told

which can’t be bought or sold.

But, i wonder what they are.

My list only goes so far.
