Past & Future Are Now

As my soul yields to

a cosmic consciousness

my retained ego

remains appreciative.

My wonder and awe

remain intact so far.

I pluck from the akashic field

whatever facts will yield

while respecting the rest.

My humility goes on

to the past which is gone.

Like a still glowing ember

i love what i remember.
