The Loves We Make
There is a sexual love
which is almost frivolous
when it is measured against
the glue which binds us to God.
But, marital love may be
the essence of harmony.
To make such love out of lust
is a love we can adjust.
Making love is what we do
with infatuation too.
And then, brotherly love is
what makes us all feel like this.
It’s a warm and mellow glow
we feel by making it so.
