Ignorance Is Bliss
I don’t need no stinking workshop
in order to write a poem.
It seems like the rules never stop
and i don’t want to know’em.
I am just a rhyming fool
who skipped the poetry school.
I write what comes naturally
and it seems good enough for me.
I have an imagination
and a happy inclination.
I don’t have a writer’s block
to make me stare at the clock.
The rhymes simply flow out of me.
Simple is my philosophy.
