Here On This Sphere

If you don’t recognize

the God who lives in you

death will be a surprise;

eternity seem new.

For, once your body dies,

self-consciousness is through.

Just a word to the wise;

You are part of God too.

The Great Spirit is mine

and we are its of course.

With no demarcation

death is an evasion.

It’s time we all forgot

about what we are not.
