A Gourmet Anyway

Cheddar cheese and peanut butter

do not taste much like each other;

also a fresh picked and ripe peach,

but i do like the taste of each.

My taste buds all seem to vary

but each one is necessary

to enjoy the taste of my life

according to my lovely wife.

She said i should learn to enjoy

liver, chicken guts, and bok choi.

But many things do not taste right

from the absolutely first bite.

My uneducated taste buds

are not like cows enjoying cuds.
