A Cosmic Consciousness

What i mostly feel is thankful.

But, who can i be thankful to?

It is easy to say thank you,

but not so easy to ask who.

This constant urge for gratitude

must evolve from my attitude.

I am also grateful for that.

I could have been just a stray cat.

“Except for God, that could be me”

crosses my mind so constantly

it makes me feel some Great Spirit

(or God) is happy to hear it.

But i think of It, and not who.
