Senior Moments

I try to express

my philosophy,

but i’ve failed. I guess

it’s too deep for me.

Where did we come from

and why are we here?

It’s the conundrum

which seems to be queer.

If eternity

means now and will be,

what about the past?

Has it gone at last?

Like my memory

it has escaped me.
