If Is the Question

If relativity is new

it is filled with ifs;–quite a few.

The constant speed of light is one

and so this theory is undone.

The big bang theory also

depends on ifs we also know.

It is too easy to accept

fables in which the ifs are kept.

A belief in eternity

doesn’t have any ifs for me.

It was, is, and will always be.

But, most people will not agree.

Trust and faith can always begin

if you let too many ifs in.
