Hesitating at the Gate

No matter which God we select

It is the primal intellect.

Intelligent and observant

we must be a willing servant.

We see our duty and do it.

The Great Spirit leads us thru it.

When we finally graduate

we tremble now at heaven’s gate.

Do we really want to go in

where eternal life will begin?

Or do we want to step aside

and let the Great Spirit decide?

So far It has been our master;

will heaven be a disaster?
