Copacetic* Pie

Slicing the core of life

we make an apple pie.

“No seeds” i told my wife.

No need to tell her why.

The pie always tastes good

because we know it should.

Attitude makes it so

altho the crust is dough.

Since i am diabetic

the sugar is left out.

It is copacetic

and is healthy do doubt.

Life is still sweet to me

but, it is sugar free.
