An Aphorism is Born
We cannot have a perfect thought
until a war of words is fought.
After the winning word is heard
something quite magic has occurred.
Good and bad have been reconciled
and the final word has been filed
in the perfect dictionary
and in our vocabulary.
Words expand as poets use them
but many writers abuse them.
Using them right is called syntax
which is not concerned with the facts.
With enough imagination
thoughts can find their generation.
