21 Pills and a Couple of Shots

I seem to have a stopped-up nose

so guess where all this mucus flows.

It is dripping out of my eyes,

a condition which i despise.

Some kind of allergy decrees

“It’s time for me to drip and sneeze.”

A cold only lasts for two weeks

but an allergy always leaks.

I am also cursed with shingles

where my pain and itching mingles.

and, if that isn’t enough,

i have a lot of other stuff.

In addition to all these ills

i must be allergic to pills.
