Who Am I to Question?

Is the world better or worse

because we have lived in it?

Perhaps we’ve had no effect.

But, our real concern is this:

Are our intentions to help?

Are we doing the right thing?

In order to do right things

we need to know what is right.

Attitude is essential.

The assessment of values

is not an easy task

considering duality.

We are all spiritual

as well as human bodies

which we try to balance.

Our actions may have both

good or evil outcomes

and good intention counts.

God intends a better world

full of brotherly love

which all of us can honor.

Do we ask ourselves, and God,

“Are we on the right path

to leave better than we found?”

Do we dare ask each other

all of these same questions?
