What Does Matter?

Or should we say “What is matter?”

It’s something we shouldn’t flatter

by giving it a significance

beyond any real circumstance.

The energy which we can’t see

has more significance to me.

It’s like the soul and the body,

which may live together oddly.

While the body is physical

the spirit is spiritual.

Likewise matter and energy

are two parts of one entity.

So, what matters the most to me

is what lives through eternity.
