Love and Indifference
Do love and indifference
conflate where they both commence?
They are both mutual things
from different beginnings.
If you appear debonair,
it doesn’t mean you don’t care.
We can love life very much
and still have a careless touch.
If we exhibit concern,
we still have a lot to learn.
Love is something you give
to creatures with whom you live.
Indifference to their sins
can be where true love begins.
