Idle Dreams

If my philosophy

seems like idle dreams

to readers of my verse

i am not abashed.

I know inspiration

comes uninvited

like imagination

from the mind of God.

Eternity is real

and so is life force.

I do understand

what i am preaching.

If you like it–or not

it is the one i’ve got.
