Guardian Angels

They are working out of sight

working to protect me from

accidents which might be my plight

and tragedies which might have come.

Are these spirits, with bodies dead?

Are they intangible instead?

I will often talk to them.

Chance of seeing one is slim.

I suppose they’re everywhere

with signs saying “Handle with care.”

Angels can prevent disaster

and turn our tears into laughter.

I don’t know if they are divine

but i’m always thankful for mine.
