Wouldn’t Do That

Are dead friends souls burning in hell

with dead pets and lovers as well?

I don’t believe that that could be.

They were all just a good as me.

We are, all of us, saved by grace,

and hell, there isn’t such a place.

Let’s all relax in paradise

where we old folks have it so nice.

None of us are living in sin

and we are too old to begin.

A rapture is only a myth

the preachers want to scare us with.

I don’t need a heaven either.
