Dreams Are Wishes

My dreams which have seemed so real

have always been a big deal.

I never thought they were true;

only daydreams in review.

Recognizing anyone

is something i’ve seldom done.

My dreams are full of strangers

and life-threatening dangers.

I sometimes feel like flying.

I may fail, but i’m trying.

Dreams are like wishes come true.

That is, when i dream of you.

You are still my lifelong mate.

When we dream, heaven can wait.
