unadulterated devils

we think of most gods as benign

that is true about most of mine

if i meet a devil or two

i expect they belong to you

some folks are bedeviled at times

and they can’t understand my rhymes

they seek dirty words and find them

but not the reasons behind them

what you seek is what you will find

that is the way we are designed

i don’t have these devils of yours

since my gods are good gods of course

if i use pure words for a while

maybe your pure devils will smile
